Buitenstaanders realiseren zich niet wat de impact van OT is op iemands leven. Een mens staat veel gedurende de dag: bij het opstaan, tandenpoetsen douchen, , aankleden, boodschappen doen, kleding kopen. Tijdens wachten in het OV, op de roltrap, in de rij, bij tanken, afrekenen, de koffieautomaat, strijken, de sleutel in het slot steken, koken en ga zo maar door. Begrip van familie, vrienden, buren, collega’s maakt het leven gemakkelijker. Het is fijn om tijdig een arm of zitplaats aangeboden te krijgen.
